Stop The Hurt

   All around the world, people want to stop child abuse.  However, they just don't know of an organized/legal way to do it.  That is where Sticky Side Down steps in.

  Sticky Side Down exists for the sole purpose of helping create a safe environment for abused children.  As a biker, I have ridden in several fund raising events organized to help someone in dire need.

  Years ago, God put the desire in my heart to help abused children.  As a biker, I became a foster parent.  The process to be a "foster parent" exposed me to the children in harms way.  I could write a book here...

  A lot of time has passed since being a foster parent.  Folks, I'm a biker, and I have the innate inability to do nothing when I see a child being hurt.

  I rode in an event that was organized to help a little girl that had been beaten severely by her mom, and her mom’s boyfriend.  She was flown via Life Flight to the hospital where she spent 13 days in the ICU.  I met the little girl before the ride began.  She was a sweet 4-year-old child.  I can not turn my back, and act as if children aren't being hurt.

   I Searched many hours, and found several organizations that offer therapy, foster care, etc, after the child qualifies through the courts.  It sometimes takes years to "qualify;" meanwhile children are being hurt.  I felt there has to be something more.  There has to be some way to put some type of a protective shield around a child while waiting on the courts.  Is there a way to surround a child’s home so the child isn’t too afraid to sleep at night?  I knew it would take a VERY strong, committed organization willing to be the obstacle between a child, and their perpetrator on a 24/7 basis.  But, does such an organization actually exist???

  It does, AND they are bikers (divine intervention)!  They are a 501-C-3 organization made up of volunteers dedicated to sacrifice ALL in order to protect and secure a child’s basic right to a happy/safe childhood.
